The Norwegian company Norkring completed the 1st of September the second national network for digital broadcasting in Slovenia. With the launch of the Multiplex-B project the company invited selected guests to an opening event at the Ljubljana City Museum.
The event at the City Museum was hosted by Peter Poles, a famous Slovenian TV presenter, giving a humoristic introduction to the history of television broadcasting in Slovenia – from analogue to digital. The director of Norkring d.o.o., Mr. Christian Skottun, then presented the Multiplex-B project and explained why his company was selected for this very important tender. The Norwegian Ambassador Guro K. H. Vikør was also present at the event and gave a speech outlining the importance of Norkrings involvement in Slovenia. Ambassador Vikør added that Norking contributes positively to the visibility of Norway in Slovenia
The day was completed with a reception that included both Norwegian and Slovenian specialities and an excellent performance by the young cellist Eva Julija Ćučkov.
